What is Orton-Gillingham Tutoring?
Orton-Gillingham is a evidence-based approach to reading instruction that is multi-sensory, direct, explicit, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive. Each lesson includes explicit phonics-based instruction, vocabulary, spelling, reading fluency, phonemic awareness development, and dictation exercises. OG lessons are created specifically for the individual child. OG is a time-tested, highly effective, personalized approach to reading intervention.
